Five Asian airports are on a list of the world's top 10 airports for 2017, with Singapore's Changi Airport retaining number one spot for the fifth consecutive year, according to rankings released by airline consultancy Skytrax. Thailand's Suvarnabhumi Airport dropped two notches to 38th, from 36 in the previous ranking. The second place went to Tokyo International Airport (Haneda), commonly known as Tokyo Haneda Airport, which improved from fourth in 2016, while Incheon International Airport of South Korea dropped from second to third. Hong Kong International Airport maintains its fifth rank standing, while Chubu Centrair Nagoya in Japan dropped one place to seventh. Hamad International Airport in Qatar moved up four places to sixth.
